I used this Mura Meister script to help me rotate the web icon for this site.

I'm interested to know how you got the 'displacement of your letters after running the script. I'm using two letters side by side and each time I run the script the letters overlay. (how do you insert an image?)

Are you talking about the animation of the spinning letters for my web icon?
I just have the letters over a black background, merged the layers so that it's just one layer with letters over black background.
Then run the script and untick the merge layers so that i have separate layers and then exported it as animated .gif.
Is that what you mean?
I am not entirely sure if i understood the part about displacement part.
I wonder if I should do a detailed tutorial on how i created this spinning web icon using this script's help.

My usual lack of clarity T - I'm referring to the static image , where you had GL next to one another, ran the script and they ended up with the L under the G.

That effect is by accident. I didn't intend it for the L to be under the G. If you look at the last layer the very top layer, the GL is still separated side by side. It depends on where you choose as rotating center, that the effect happens. The L just happens to be under the G of a different layer when i ran the script.

For my example i chose the center to be about where the Red dot is. I just hover my mouse over that area where i want to center to be, and read the coordinates (that is shown on bottom left of image area) just move the mouse around and you'll see those coordinates numbers change. Then I enter those coordinates into Mura Meister Copies options as my "Rotate center X" and "Rotate Center Y".

Amazing script -- thank you - this really make things much easier
i forsee a lot of experiments in my future

I am still glad that i learned to do these by hand -- only 8 copies. It would only take another copy, past-layer, rotate, merge-down to get to 16
after that forget it - i would not want to keep dividing angles 180, 90, 45 to get 8 copies is easy and thats enough by hand
GIMP Learn rocks...
