Try this one instead - I blame multiple versions of the same basic thing.
Base_for_Single_Colours.xcf

No worries.
This xcf has all the elements on different layers.

Tim, the link you provided teaches you to get emaps of gradients. But I noticed that images (bathrooms, lol) were also used to create these emaps.tim wrote: ↑04 Mar 2018, 23:59Since there's a good topic at GimpChat: Environment Map Sharing Thread (Spherical) Bevel Reflect.
I thought I would start one here at GL.
On how to use these spherical emaps, see Bevel Reflect Logo for Beginners or Reflect Script for GIMP
On how to create these emaps, see (How to) Create a Spherical Emap from a Gradient for the Bevel Reflect Logo
In the other links that you made available there are many posts, at least 58, lots of reading. And I do not know how far the scripts made available there are still functional with Gimp 2.10
Would it be possible to summarize how to create an emap (these beautiful balls) of images?
Thx a lot.

UPDATE: just tested it all still works in GIMP 2.10
All the below still work in GIMP 2.10.X
as the below video shows:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llTCYOg-leg
https://web.archive.org/web/20170614051 ... l-reflect/ (Get the right version for your machine, read install instructions on the page [I think you just toss it in /plug-ins/ and make it executable, at least for Linux, it is])
https://web.archive.org/web/20171024221 ... lect-logo/ (Get this for /scripts folder)
https://web.archive.org/web/20171203202 ... lobe-view/ (Get this for /scripts folder)
However, map object - sphere produces a better shiny ball and a better shine on bevel reflect logo as the below video shows:

Funnily enough I had made a similar image to the one I posted earlier using map to sphere:
Which produces very similar results:

yeah map to sphere default settings shows a shinier globe compared to globe view.
