plug-in DoG (non GEGL) used inside a script

Post#1 by dinasset » 06 Dec 2019, 08:50

This is a warning only for scripters, because used interactively it works.

After many trials, because I always was getting an empty layer when applying DoG (in a python script) I decided to copy the version available in 2.8 Gimp; it started working again.

If you can reproduce the problem, then I would let gimp.org know about the bug.

https://www.gimp.org/bugs/report.html

I did that once, they were quick to respond.

TCL and Python 3 in GIMP 3 will be the best improvement to the project.
